Basically, I first determine why a student needs to learn a particular concept in terms of the specific course, and then I work with the student to figure out the best way for the student to understand the concept. Because I have worked as a Researcher and Statistical Consultant as well as a Tutor, my first order of business is to determine what the real problem is, i.e., what are the reasons that the student is having trouble with a particular assignment or concept. From my previous tutoring experience, an effective way to teach children is the most important thing. Explaining reasons and dealing with essential are more effective than remembering. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style has been to enthuse my students. I find the physical and mathematical models of the world to be fascinating, and try and show how exciting these models are to my listeners. Passing on that knowledge is incredibly rewarding, and I believe that I can present any scientific principal in an interesting way.
I have experience both tutoring degree level students in Geophysics and in mentoring junior programmers in programming C and C++. My science knowledge is second to none, and I am an extremely enthusiastic teacher. At school my strong math lead me to win the physics prize, and I continued with my interest in quantitative science through to my doctorate. Recently I have been developing my own software application, which uses both vector and matrix math in its design.
