A Little Bit About Me...

I earned my Bachelor of fine art's degree in studio art and a minor in art history. While earning my Bachelor's degree I taught a beginning ceramics course, worked as a ceramic technician and a shop technician for my university. I taught at a private art summer academy, and earned three scholarships to attend workshops at CSU summer arts. After returning to the states, I have earned my single subject credential in art, tutored two years at an elementary school, taught 6th grade summer school, and student taught at two different high schools in California teaching art to students from 9th to 12th grade. I am very experienced as a teacher and am able to connect and teach effectively.

I teach by learning the student and beccoming aware of how they learn and what interests them in being able to achieve at their best. I love the look on a child's face when they finally realize that they have achieved what they viewed as unachievable.
