I am a recent college graduate and I am looking for employment within my field. I have two years experience tutoring an elementary student. I worked with a student in second grade and tutored her in both Math and English. Because her mother and I communicated regularly, she was able to tell me of improvements and areas of subjects that needed more attention. I am very enthusiastic about being able to work with students of any age. As a recent college graduate, I feel that I will be able to relate and connect with all ages of students. I enjoy being in a learning environment and I enjoy the company of other people.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and being around children. I love watching them grow and learn new things. I love the excitement and joy they have when they learn something new. I have learned that in order to be a good teacher, you have to be flexible and willing to teach in a variety of ways. Everyone learns differently and in their own time. Patience is a huge part of teaching.
I moved to North Carolina shortly after graduating in August 2007. I was a teacher Assistant in a Kindergarten classroom. I helped the teacher create lesson plans, I helped children is small groups and one on one. I also served as a team teacher since I had my teaching degree. I also taught whenever needed.
