I am a recent college graduate and I am looking for employment within my field. I have two years experience tutoring an elementary student. I worked with a student in second grade and tutored her in both Math and English. Because her mother and I communicated regularly, she was able to tell me of improvements and areas of subjects that needed more attention. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated recently in Elementary education, so I have a broad knowledge in all subject areas. I got in the top 15th percentile on the Praxis content knowledge test. I am well-trained in different teaching techniques as well as Elementary content because I have substituted in classes from special education, to kindergarten, to sixth grade in small group and whole class. I have also tutored students in a college Biology class, one-on-one, and tutored friends when they needed it. I have also taught piano lessons for two years to various students.
I firmly believe that every child is capable of learning hard concepts, they just have to be taught in a way that is applicable to them. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and being around children. I love watching them grow and learn new things. I love the excitement and joy they have when they learn something new. I have learned that in order to be a good teacher, you have to be flexible and willing to teach in a variety of ways. Everyone learns differently and in their own time. A Little Bit About Me...

As a full time student and a full time employee of the General Electric Company I did not have the time to goof around. I had to be driven and utilize my time to accomplsh the most amount in the least amount of time. Therefore I have been able to use my experience to help students learn quickly and easily. I have spent time with students of all ages and have learned how to make connections with them. As a substitute teacher I have taught in every subject in every grade level.
