I am adamant to maintain a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a B.A. degree in history and an M.A. in secondary education with a concentration in social studies. I began my career as a music teacher at the middle school level, but soon realized that I had a passion for younger children. I began teaching 5K, and excelled at leading my students to becoming fluent readers by the end of their kindergarten year. I taught kindergarten for 5 years, and then was asked to teach second grade.
