A Little Bit About Me...

I am in my third year studying music education at The College of New Jersey. Currently, I am studying with Kathleen Mitchell, the Principal Second Saxophone with Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia since 1994. I have given numerous performances during my collegiate career and have an extensive knowledge of diverse saxophone and woodwind repertoires. In addition to solo performances, I perform regularly with The College of New Jersey’s premier saxophone quartet and wind ensemble. A Little Bit About Me...

While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.
I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
