I will begin by walking you through how to solve the problems. After a few sessions of that, we will then move on to simple exams taken by the student to gauge your knowledge. Finally, we will end with a practice exam to ensure that you are at the appropriate level.
I am an instructor at Virginia College and VC recently cancelled its ASVAB tutoring program. Students learn differently, and I try to find each student’s comfort zone for learning. I really love helping students understand the material. One rule that I do have is that students should at least try and not be lazy about the matter. I remember seeing one quote way back when I first started mathematics, "Mathematics is not a spectator sport." Now this may sound cheesy but this is the truth in order to get through a math class you must work hard at it and practice, practice, and practice some more and if truely don't get something I will be more than glad to help.
