I am am a certified Reading Instruction Specialist and former fourth grade teacher. Most students rise 2-4 grade levels in under 50 hours of instruction using the Academic Associates Reading Program. The Academic Associates curriculum is a 13 lesson brain-based phonics curriculum. One of my favorite success stories is a student I'll call Mark. After completing only 7 lessons, Mark went from a 1.9 reading level to a 3.5 reading level. It was kind of hard for them to keep their focus so i drew a plan which was rewarding them with candy and toys, and of course since it was my idea I didn't charge extra. LOVE TO TEACH!!

I am beginning my 14th year of teaching. I have taught from 3rd to 6th grade, with a heavy focus on Reading and Language. I also taught Adult Literacy classes and have worked as the Reading Specialist at our school which involved working with teachers on best practice in Reading Instruction. I missed my "babies" and went back into the classroom and have never looked back.
