Each child has an individual learning style the teacher needs to discover and build upon. I believe there are many tried and proven methods of education that schools have used over the years to educate students that are still valid. My task as a tutor is to find out something about the difficulties they are having with a particular subject or lesson, and then plot a path that will lead them to success in the particular lesson they are having trouble with. Upon graduating from Penn State University with a double major in Sec. Education and Psychology, I began my new career teaching secondary English, World History & Cultures, & Psychology. Coming West, I taught middle school English & Social Studies in Colorado for four years. In addition, I have been a business college instructor & counselor for 13 years.
