A Little Bit About Me...

I use a very visual teaching style. Any child can learn how to solve any problem, as long as it is explained to them using practical ways that they can understand. I teach using practical examples and putting problem in real life applications. Once a child understands the how and the why, they become more confident in the work that they are doing.
As an engineering student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have taken many courses in mathematics, however, engineering wasn't my passion. My true passion is working with young people. As a former Director of Education for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Alabama, I have tutored children in mathematics for nearly 10 years!
