With NMSU I worked with fellow college students in classes that I previously passed, which mainly included Accounting and Math. With CYFD I worked with young mothers trying to obtaining their GED. I believe that children learn best when the material is most tangible to them. When teaching or tutoring, I make a huge effort to incorporate the students' names into math problems. I make it my goal to find out as much as I can about the students, and then put them in those environments in an imaginative way in some sort of math problem.
