Italian is one of my top subjects! I majored in Italian at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. I have also studied and lived in Italy for a total of 10 months.

I've been studying Italian for four years during my undergraduate years. I also studied abroad in High School and in college in Italy. I'm very passionate about Italian culture, film, literature and history. Although I'm comfortable with an advanced level of Italian, my biggest skill is pronunciation.

A Little Bit About Me...

Before earning a BA in Biology at Skidmore College and after graduating high school, I took three years off to play hockey. Concurrently, I enrolled in classes at Mount Wachusett Community College in Massachusetts and tutored in the math department. I tutored students in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and some calculus. At Skidmore I continued in math, taking calculus I, II, and III, and linear algebra before focusing my attention on molecular biology. I habitually studied with my classmates and I found great satisfaction helping others understand complex subject matter. The challenge to explain concepts in alternative ways in order to cater to different learning styles was enriching to my own understanding. Thus, while bolstering my own knowledge of the material, I developed the skills needed to be a superior tutor.
