I have worked with elementary, high school, and college-aged students, providing instruction in subjects ranging from English to biology. Elementary Math is one of my top subjects!

I prefer a more open style to assisting students, where I go over their work issues and try to spark a conversation through which I can get a better understanding of the students reasoning.
I currently am a senior at the University of Cincinnati studying Computer Science. Before my freshman year I was a part of the summer bridge program as a part of Emerging Ethnic Engineers through which community service plays a large pay role. When I substitute for a teacher, I want to see a lesson plan. I do not want to be the classroom babysitter. If there is no plan for the day I involve the students in making one. I'm currently working on obtaining my teaching certificate, to go along with my bachelors degree in Social Science. Hopefully, I will be able to go on to receive my Masters in Education.
