My preferred teaching style online via video conference such as Skype/Google Hangout and is casual and friendly, however, I am quite intuitive and am able to customize my teaching style to the needs of the student(s) I am working with.

Each person learns at an individual pace. I use the Gardner system of multiple intelligences to facilitate individual learning style. I do not believe something is impossible to learn, or unteachable. Patience is a moral and ethic rule with my personal professional style.
I have worked with different levels of mental health and emotional maturity for several years. I have spent much of my spare time working within the community at youth centers, soup kitchens and veteran administration homes. A Little Bit About Me...

During my four years at East TN State University (ETSU), I tutored college students in General and Organic Chemistry, and multiple Psychology courses. I also taught for Kaplan Test Prep in small classes and prepared high school students for the SAT and ACT. I graduated in 2004 with a BS in Psychology. I then went to South College to get my teaching certificate. I student taught for 16 weeks under two wonderful mentoring teachers, and started subbing in January 2005. In August 2005 I received a full-time teaching position, and that is my current career.
I love teaching and tutoring children of all ages.
