My teaching style is to have a set of problems made up for the students to observe as examples to help understand certain chapters. I will assign additional problems if needed and focus on the subject matter that is the hardest for the individual to understand. I have taken statistics and gotten an A in the course and still have all course materials to give a general overview of statistics and how to use SPSS. During my tenure at Buffalo State College, I volunteered at the Equal Opportunity Program, where my main strength was utilized by actively tutoring students in the art of the english essay. I was able to tutor these students and advise them in the general format of the essay. We began by procurring a general introduction, or a statement of fact,followed by the body of the essay, descriptive references, and tying it all together with a summary that proves the point that you have set out to make. I tutored many different students, but it was apparent that most students who excelled in math and science, struggled with English writing requirements.
