Study Skills is one of my top subjects!

Every student learns differently. I have explored the many ways to teach so that children can learn. From previous teaching experience I am aware that some children are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. I teach based on the individual learning style.

I have attained a MS in Counseling and Psychology, and a BS in Psychology with a Math minor. Through my journey into higher education I have been fortunate enough to motivate myself and others to push through tough courses by establishing study groups. My style of teaching is entirely dependent upon the needs of each student. My abilities and skills are highly adaptable to the needs each student faces. I believe that each student has a certain type of intelligence. Some will be gifted in art or music or visual learning or learning by repetition, and I consider it my responsibility to find out how each student learns, and then try to teach using their innate intelligence.
