Psychology is one of my top subjects!

I have been teaching a brick and mortar university for a year and am now engaging teach at an online university. I enjoy the challenge of learning how people learn and teaching them something about their learning. It is extremely gratifying to watch people bloom academically. My dissertation was in psychophysiology and its relationship to psychology. Basically, I was investigating if one can deliberately change psychology via psychophysiology. The results were interesting but not published yet. I am working on developing a Bayesian approach so as to gain publication. I also may be contributing to a qualitative project this fall at a local brick and mortar university.

A Little Bit About Me...

Every child can learn, it just takes a good teacher to help make that happen. A teacher must assess each student for their learning style, ability, and readiness. I want to get to know my students so that I can better understand what motivates them to succeed and develop positive relationships. I care about all students and want to make a difference.
While pursuing my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, I volunteered my time at the Boys and Girls Club of America and tutored students of all ages in reading, math, science, and social studies. I am currently completing an alternative certification program for Texas teacher certification, and I am highly qualified to teach early childhood to sixth grade.
