I love working with children, and over my many years of being in school I have witnessed all types of teaching styles. When I began teaching myself, I developed a style that allows the children to think for themselves in order to gain academic success. My goals are to provide the student with the critical thinking skills necessary to solve problems and reach their true potential.

I like diversity when teaching and incorporating the use of technology to help the diverse learner. The teaching style I like to relate to is that of Maria Montessori, because I like to set up scenarios and encourage the child to problem solve and be creative at their own pace. I do believe that a prepared environment can motivate a child.
