A Little Bit About Me...

During my three years of formal tutoring, I was able to change my tutoring styles to fit the needs of the student. Everyone learns differently and it is important to realize and adjust my tutoring accordingly.
During the last three years of my undergraduate college career, I was a Mathematics tutor for student athletes. Although the courses covered while tutoring ranged from basic math to calculus, I am more comfotable tutoring algebra and geometry. I earned my BA with a double major in Mathematics and Russian in just four years. After college, I helped my sister and step-sister with their math and math-related physcis problems.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am first and foremost a teacher/learning facilitator, and secondly a computer lover. As a teacher I am sequential in learning points, and creative in presentation. I am good at finding first the 'starting point' enabling the student to better relate to the lesson. I can usually discover a reason for 'why learn this' for the unmotivated student. A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate, I became very passionate about the sciences and graduated with a BA in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology and Biology. During my collegiate years, I Peer Tutored for General and Organic Chemistry laboratories and held review sessions for these courses. During my latter two years, I also tutored at the Writing Center, acting as Lead Tutor during my senior year. I worked with students at all stages of the writing process and in every academic discipline to strengthen their written skills.
