During and after earning my degree, I spent almost nine years working in healthcare as a medical assistant, teaching patients in a one on one environment. I have recently attained a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University. The reason I chose this degree was that it gave me an opportunity to learn all aspects of a human being. My first concentration was science. This gave me an understanding on how the body is developed. The next concentration was social work. This would help me gain knowledge on how to deal with families, and education, so I could teach. I believe all children have the ability to learn. I strive to accommodate each child's unique learning style and cherish the accomplishments in learning new things. I really enjoy helping children and teenagers discover new things through education. I am the oldest of five children and I have helped my siblings in practically every subject area over the last 10 years.
