When I begin tutoring a new student, my first objective is for us to get to know each other. The student will not be able to receive very much from me until he/she is comfortable with me. Once they feel that I care, they open up and the learning really begins! When I really get a feel for the personality and whatever particular challenges are unique for this person in this class, I am able to determine the best way to communicate the subject and improve the skills. A Little Bit About Me...

As a college athlete I always have been encouraged to help out the community. Because of my high level of math, I knew that I could really help others learn the material in a fun way. Math is something that has always been easy to me, and I have completed through calc 1,2,3 and Differential Equations. I scored in the top 96 percentile in arithmetic based math on my ADHD testing in 2006. I volunteer as a baseball coach with kids at all ages and skill levels so I am fully aware that different kids learn at different levels in different ways. I am there to serve them, they do not owe me anything, and I owe them everything. It is my job to help them out in the subject they need to succeed in.

A Little Bit About Me...

After working as an environmental engineer for a couple of years, I realized that I wanted to join the teaching force. I was the rookie teacher of year for my school and then two years later, received the teacher of year nomination. During the past 5 years, I have taught chemistry, physics, and math for college readiness in which I had a 90% pass rate for the common end of course exams.
