I love kids, and I love helping them learn and succeed. I have always believed that children learn best when learning is fun and interesting. I try to incorporate new and interesting methods of teaching into my lessons, including manipulatives and "hands-on" learning, and using "real world" examples that kids can relate to. I have learned from my experience that once you form a relationship with a student and learn their personality and interests, you can learn the best methods helping that student reach his/her full potential. I enjoy teaching and working with students. I believe all children can learn according to their individual learning styles. I enjoy seeing success when the students understand the material and achieve to their greatest potential. Since I have a child of my own who has struggled with a Learning Disability, I have learned various methods and techniques to help him understand the content material. While in high school I was choosen as a Top Student to be able to go and work for the summer and tutor grade school children. When I started I tutored 3rd students and the next year I was able to teach high school freshman Algebra.
