A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one of patience, while still holding the student accountable to what is being asked of them. I enjoy tutoring in order to keep current with student needs. I have tutored in both group and one on one settings. My plan includes using diagnostic tools to determine any gaps in a child's foundation, filling those gaps and extending the foundational skills through pre teaching upcoming concepts in order to make connections for the student and build confidence. I've worked as a Learning Specialist for 6 years. I started at Mercy Learning in Mandeville and now have a private practice. I trained and began contracting to the Mercy Learning Center, Mandeville Campus as a Learning Specialist for nearly three years. My comments on tutoring Geometry : I have a Phd in Mathematical Physics. So this stuff is like my second skin.
