I have several years teaching in Elementary. Teaching grade levels of 2nd-6th grades. Currently, I am employed as a Substitute Teacher for JobCorps Inc. I am currently, teaching Business courses in Office Administration, Keyboarding, Communication, and Information Technolgy; for disadvantage youths. I have experience teaching technical and educational courses, to disadvantage youths. I also, have extensive experience in Leap testing.I taught elementary classes for over 3 years grades 2nd-6th grade within a private organization. I taught classes for a Private organization as a Business Instructor, teaching classes in Management, Computer Information, and Communication. I have spent the last seven years as lecturer in Music Theory at Southeastern Louisisana University. I have tutored in Music Theory while at this post at back through undergraduate school. I have taught private lessons in piano by both Suzuki and Traditional methods for over 20 years. I believe my experience in writing a thesis and articles in my field would qualify me to tutor in academic writing. Private lesson teaching is my favorite teaching. It is a unique opportunity to adapt one's teaching approach to a single individual, to create the perfect learning environment moment to moment. I began working in Tangipahoa Parish February of 1983. I tutored in the Migrant program When our school moved I moved to a 6th Grade class where I taught self-contained, team taught, etc. When we moved, once again, to a new school I with Mrs. Deborah Ellzey as a team-teacher. I taught Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have continued to teach with varying class situations in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade subjects and am currently teaching 5th Grade Math Enrichment. I have attended professional development to include Learning Styles, Technology courses, and Mentor/Assessment Teacher training. I am a LaSip teacher, I am flexible in my style because each child is unique. It is important to address the needs of all groups.
