A Little Bit About Me...

I love to teach. I do believe in helping all students advance to the next level and excel in math and sciences. I am firm believer in No child left behind motto. Some students need extra help and extra drills,but with support and persistance things are possible.
I am a chemist with many years of experience (close to 40). I also completed teacher certificate program. Recently , I taught chemistry to 150 students at the HS level. I am a French native speaker. I gave private tutoring lessons at the University Language Center to adults and their families as well as students preparing for the Graduate Proficiency Test (GPT) at the University of Minnesota. I was committing 2 to 3 hours a week of ESL, math and science tutoring junior high students from immigrant family background at Abraham Lincoln High School. My dedication made me noticed and recognized by the principal of the school which allowed me to work as an ESL teacher in the summer of 2004. In all my tutoring experience I have been extremely successful, in getting my students to pass the GPT, in achieving goals for the adults and their families, as well as for the kids from minority communities.
