Elementary Math is one of my top subjects!

I'll only be taking elementary kids as students, I can tutor/help them with studies for 1/2 hours every weekday.

Graduate student looking to help students achieve their goals!

I think teaching styles should differ based on the preferred learning style of the student. The teaching style should play on the strengths and preferences of that particular student. That being said, I foster a student-centered approach to learning. This approach encourages the student play an equal, active role in the learning process, rather than a passive role. A cooperative approach is important so the student can feel like he or she is an active and capable participant in learning the material. I also believe in leading by example and allowing the student to use me as a resource for reviewing their work.

A Little Bit About Me...

For most of my life, I've had an interest in math. Before I began my freshman year at Oregon State University, I took AP Calculus and Calculus III and aced them. I attribute my ability to perform well in these classes to my intuitive grasp of the concepts. In this way I can see clearly what the math is doing, and can easily find a solution.
