As a graduate of the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University, I was given the opportunity to create art in a recently built, state of the art facility. I started college straight out of High School in 2005 and completed my degree in just over four years. I was awarded the Art Star award for the painting program, I also received a scholarship from the school for the advancement of photography and painting. In the summer of 2009 I taught summer camps at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts teaching kindergarten through middle school.
