I enjoy teaching others and helping them excel in their studies. I can relate to younger students because I have a six year old who required extensive help in the area of reading. She was one of my greatest achievements because I had to research a way to communicate on her level of understanding and yet make it interesting and fun. Now instead reading being a weakness it is a strength for her because she has excelled and developed confidence in this area too. I have also helped other children children in the community and I have volunteered on a regular basis at my daughters school helping her classmates with their work.

Even as a writer, I was drawn to teaching others how to communicate effectively and conducted internal workshops and one-on-one tutoring for less experienced writers. On a more formal basis, I taught business writing part-time at two universities.
