Italian is one of my top subjects! Always an admirer of the Italian language and culture (and of Italian descent myself), I starting picking up the language two years ago and have since achieved level C1 (the fifth out of six levels of European language mastery) after living and studying in Italy for three months! I am a third-year undergraduate student at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA. My home residence is in Alpharetta, GA so I am willing to tutor in or around these areas and metro Atlanta. My undergraduate major is French, a language I have been studying in school for over twelve years. Foreign language has always been my favorite subject so two years ago I started taking Italian classes at my university. In summer 2011 I spent three months living and studying the Italian language in Italy. I have achieved level C1 in Italian of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and after twelve years as a French student I can assure that I can communicate and teach effectively in both Italian and French. At Georgia College I volunteer at the university's language lab six hours a week, tutoring my fellow students in these languages.

After completing my double degree in Spanish and Italian, at the University of Georgia, I then went on to working with foreign tourists in Naples, Italy in order to master my language skills. Upon returning to the United States, I began working with a major European tour operator. There, my language skills helped me tremendously while communicating with our European offices and tour managers. I have also just recently returned from Barcelona, Spain where I worked as an English tutor to children and adults.
