A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutor elementary students since I started college back in 2009. I use to go to three different schools during my spare time to go help the teachers. I noticed that I really like it and therefore I decided to tutor High School students for a year. I never did got the opportunity to tutor Middle School students, but I have a brother who attends middle school and whenever he needs help I tend to help him. I want to become a teacher when I grow up because I am patient, responsible, and I love spending time with kids. To be honest I do not see myself doing anything else, but teach. I am always looking for possible ways to tutor even when looking for a job. I have had more great experience than bad when it comes to tutoring and I know I can make more memorable memories while doing something I really enjoy.

I try to model my own love of learning to my mentee.

I’ve been exploring possible future careers for myself. What's great about common core math is that they provide different methods to teach students how to solve a problem and in the end they choose which method works best for them.
