During and after completing my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I spent eight years as a volunteer tutor and three years as a paid tutor. I worked for Sylvan Learning Center in Melbourne, Florida and, most recently, as an AVID tutor for a school district in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
