My teaching style is different for every person. I have to asses each individual student find out what their strong and weak points are before they can fully benefit from my tutor sessions. I am easy going, friendly, and honest. My only goal is to teach the material so the student will fully understand, remember, and enjoy what he/she is learning. I am a college student at Coastal Carolina University. Willing to help anyone that needs tutoring. I am a junior studying Biological Chemistry. Very visual, hands on techniques will usually help children more than regular teaching styles. I have attended Carolina Forest Elementary School, Ocean Bay Middle School, and Carolina Forest High School. I am now attending Horry Georgetown Technical College. I have always been a math person, even as a little kid. I am currently attending Francis Marion University and double majoring in Mathematics and Finance. In the spring of 2014 I will be taking Calculus III and Multivariable Calculus. I tutor my friends and they love the way I teach compared to their professors or instructors. If I do not initially know how to solve a problem, it will take me a few minutes to learn it, provided that there are notes available. I have also been into music for the past 9 years. As a graduate student at Rice University, I taught labs for the undergraduate students and was also an exam grader. Furthermore, upon the completion of my doctorate degree in physics, I taught physics for six and a half years at the university level. Following this, I taught mathematics on the high school level and have been a tutor on the high school and middle school level. Thus, I have several years of experience in a teaching or tutoring capacity. As an undergraduate, I completed my degree with a 3.5 grade point average and had all A's and B's during my graduate education. My teaching motto is simple, practice makes perfect.
