Once I was accepted to NC A&T, I realized that I had developed a fear of math and did not understand basic algebraic concepts. I am a very motivating person and tend to use humor as a method of teaching. I teach to and with the child and never down to him/her. I break large components into their simplest forms so that a child learns to take things one step at a time and not feel overwhelmed.
