I tutored before but of course I wasn't paid for it because it was at my old elementary school. I helped children from ages 8-13 which I was only 11 or 12 at the time. After graduating with an English major and a minor in secondary education from Union University, I moved to Nashville to begin my graduate degree. I finished with my MA in English from Belmont University while teaching full-time. I have spent the last 15 years teaching all levels of English in grades 8-12.
