My main experience teaching has been various science courses but I have also taught math and reading. I began my education thinking I would be an elementary school teacher but then discovered my love of science so I took additional classes while completing my Master's so I could be certified to teach science. I would want each student in my classroom to feel wanted and feel a sense of their identity present even when they leave the classroom. Each student should be given attention. To understand what they feel and how they react to the material being presented to them is very important to me. I would encourage students to learn and let their views be heard.
