Upon graduation from college in the 80's, I taught adult education for three years. I then entered the business world, where I had a successful career in sales and operations management. In 2009, I chose to leave my corporate career and reenter education because of a desire to utilize my strengths and do something that helps people. I obtained my certification in English from the State of Connecticut in 2010. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I am a traditional student, high school was a difficult time for me and I felt largely misunderstood by my teachers. As such, I have committed to creating a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable to be themselves. I have high expectations for my students and am capable of adjusting my style to accommodate a diverse population of learners.
