A Little Bit About Me...

Worked as Chemistry Instructor at India. Taught chemistry to B.Sc students. In Memphis TN , first time I got opportunity to teach chemistry at Southwest Community college in 1999. My good reputation and reviews by students gave me the opportunity to work as an instructor, teaching at Southwest Community College in 2004. At the same time, I got an offer to work as a tutor, for tutoring medical students. My current job as a Chemist at GSK has added to the teaching experience by being a trainer.
I am a very thorough and detail-oriented person, as I do not like to take short cuts. I want my students to understand the topic and get to the root of the concept and then work on problems and questions.I would consult many books and prefer making notes and learn organic chemistry by writing equations. I enjoy the challenge of tutoring students struggling with a subject. As a student who had much trouble understanding math and biology, I learned various techniques over the years to become a better thinker and researcher in each discipline studied. As a substitute teacher, I have been called upon to engage students on a one-on-one basis in the classroom at both the middle and high school level. I know first hand that most students just need a little more coaching outside the classroom to raise their level of excellence. I college I tutored my fraternal brothers in chemistry, free of charge.
