I love teaching students of all ages and I recognize that most students do not get the help they need during the school day, which is why it is important for them to get the help they need outside of class. Each student learns differently and it is important for me to figure out a way that works best for him or her so that I can instill the techniques that will help them throughout their entire educational career. During my life I have worked in several types of businesses in which I would usually advance to becoming the lead person, teacher to the ones working below me. Micro welding had to teach others how to set machines and run them. I built parts which went to the moon, had to teach the others how they were made. Owned an upholstery business and taught people how to sew, cut, and hang the materials on the furniture. I helped my sons and later my granddaughters with home work. All of this should add up to a year of tutoring students. Teaching the students they need to ask questions that concern them the most and then always manage to work through them.

My teaching style is inclusive of the hands-on approach. I believe that all students should have equal access to education. While that doesn't hold true, in the classroom, I encourage and appreciate students whom voice their opinion on a regular basis. I believe that all students also have a different approach to learning, and thus, they must be approached differently with different methods. Some students are definitely visual learners, while others are auditory or kinesthetic learners.
