I have been teaching for more than 35 years. I recently earned my Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction in Literacy. I have obtained certification with that degree a Master Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist. I have studied the best methods students learn and how to deliver instruction to meet their needs. My teaching style centers on relationships. I feel that it is essential to build a relationship with each student, and with their family, as well. Truly knowing a child allows you to understand their strengths and areas of growth, and helps identify ways to reach that child where they are and help propel them further.
