English ESOL is one of my top subjects! In 2012 I received my TEFL certification from the International TEFL Academy. Since that time I have been teaching English as a second language in Costa Rica with two language institutes. I have experience with all levels of English proficiency. My Bachelor's degree is in Speech-Language Pathology, making my specialty teaching English pronunciation and conversation. Education in my life has been my number one motivating factor for success. My experience in the field of tutoring is personal. I do not have formal previous experience with a formal institution that provides me with students to tutor- instead- my love and passion for reading, writing and literature in general has driven me to tutor friends and family concerning this subject matter. I recently graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with two Bachelors of Science in Marine Geology and Maritime Law. I teach sailing and environmental education in the summers.
