I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. I believe my style of teaching is unique and what I would of liked to have access to as I was learning myself. I have to agree computers and all there errors they give and slow speeds, really what do you do? I teach in a way so you can teach yourself. I think of it is harder to remember everything and where it is and I just teach you where to find it. I take the approach as it was a long time ago, if you walk over to a filing cabinet, you open the right door, you scroll to the last name, and pull the file, all the info is there and you didn't remember anything but the last name.

Learning Can be Fun!
