I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 10 years. I have a large variety of teaching supplies and resources to use to enhance the learning experience. I enjoy using hands on materials and other recourses to meet the needs of all kinds of learners. I have a “what ever it takes” attitude when it comes to teaching. I have found that creativity is an essential quality of a tutor. I have a BS in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am just currently working toward an Advanced Special Education Master's degree. I will complete this degree this January 2011. I have had additional training in reading interventions, social skills instruction and writing instruction for the elementary level.
