Since graduating from my undergraduate program in 2007, I have had a passion for teaching and learning. My first teaching experience was working in Camden, New Jersey. I served as an intern art teacher for at-risk first through third graders in an after school/summer school program. Shortly thereafter I started my Master's program, where I integrated my passion for teaching into my capstone project. I earned a bachelors degree in English Literature and a minor in Education. During these undergraduate years, I helped student teach regular English courses ranging from reading comprehension, essay writing, and literary analysis in various schools and grade levels.
