I have seen through substituting that there are many children who need extra attention to help them understand a certain subject. Tutoring will allow me to give them the one-on-one they need to learn something that is hard in a classroom setting. I like to connect with the children immediately and try to use examples of real-life situations to guide their learning. I believe a good learning technique is to use the things the children are familiar with and try to apply it to what I am teaching them. I think that the greatest skill for one to learn is to be able to seek information that can be synthesized into the answer that is needed.
