Classical music My piano teaching experience is over 20 years at Japan and United States. I teach from beginner to college level students. My motto of piano teaching is “Every lesson should be enjoyable and progressive”. Some of my students passed music major auditions at universities. I am a founder of the Chamber Music Society of Olean and the Young Artists Concert Series which provides a great performing opportunity for young musicians in the area. I currently work in a PreK-12 School setting as a Certified School Library Media Specialist. I am responsible for teaching Prek-6th grade library/research lessons. When I am not teaching I am monitoring 7-12 students who are utilizing the library media cnter. I manage two library spaces, am the primary purchaser for books, technologies, and databases, and work closely with the administration team to meet and exceed curricular goals. Previously I worked in a K-6 setting with similar responsibilities. While working with on my Masters degree I substitute taught in several of the area school districts. I am active in my school community, participating in several committees and working as the editor in chief for the school's monthly newsletter.

As a graduate of one of the top state schools in New York, I have always believed in the importance of education. I have a BA in art studio, 2 years of biology/chemistry, and Calculus I&II, which has given me a well rounded education. I have also developed a higher level of writing skills through my research papers and laboratory write-ups. My latin classes have given me a better understanding of vocabulary and the derivatives of different languages from latin.
