It is widely acknowledged that students learn in a variety of ways. A Little Bit About Me...

My best contribution has always been coupled with my crossover between practical, "real-world", skills and academics. I have always had a desire to share things that interested me with others, starting with Karate as a teen and continuing onward through more complex academic disciplines. I tutored Chemistry, Math, and Philosophy all through college. This has expanded to media and communication, practical business, and technology. As a TFA teacher, I have undergone intensive training that focuses on backwards planning and results based accountability. In the past year I have taught fourth and fifth grade subjects including: writing, science, social studies, fine arts, and technology. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked with teens in crisis.
