How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. That led to my doing teaching seminars, which led to consulting, which led to training, which led to my working with individuals as a life coach. I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a creative approach to learning that appeals to all styles of learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. Currently, I work for the Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa school districts as a home instructor for grades 6 to 12. I enjoy working with the kids one on one and feel wonderful about helping them stay up to date with their school work until they are physically able to return to the regular classroom setting.
