I believe that questions are more powerful teaching tools than simply delivering answers. I do not wish to teach my students WHAT to think; my goal is to help students learn HOW to think, and to develop a pssion for learning which extends well beyond their formal schooling.
Most of my career has involved some level of teachng or training. My teaching style is entirely individualized to meet the needs of the child. As a special educator, my instruction has most often been diagnostic, targeted to meet specific goals and objectives. I relate activities to real life, so that lessons are interesting and students can apply and generalize learned skills. I use a multisensory approach.
