I have a strong background in math and science, which I have used to be what I consider to be an effective teacher and tutor for the last ten years. I enjoy teaching and feel a great deal of responsibility for my students and their success.
My style of teaching is very involved in the students' success. I make every attempt to relate to them and work through any difficulties they may run into in the learning process. I also try to acknowledge accomplishments and communicate with them the level of pride I feel at their successes.

My teaching style focuses on collaboration with the student, ensuring that knowledge is recieved organically, and not forcibly. Having been a student myself, I understand the importance of appealing to a child's sensibilities and multiple intelligences; not every child learns in the same way.
