Experience Summary
In my career, I’ve had extensive experience working in web, print, and media design. Some key areas of focus are: websites, web applications user interface, email marketing, web media advertising, traditional advertising (creative concept development and execution,) copywriting, billboard/signage, digital presentations, trade show display, packaging and labels, catalogs and manuals, technical illustrations, and logo design/corporate identity development.
In addition to hands-on design production, I also have direct experience serving in creative leadership roles, such as acting as a creative consultant, art director, and manager.
I’ve overseen the day-to-day operations of creative departments while mentoring and training designers to increase the quality of the creative output.
Across all creative pursuits, my goal is to craft engaging interactions that connect people to ideas—to communicate complex messages in simple ways with intellectual integrity. Through great design and artistic leadership, I've assisted many businesses and individuals in the quest to deliver more connection, more value, and better results.

Teaching Style
Easy going and encouraging but honest, with an emphasis on teaching best practice and explaining *why* we do it the the way we do to help students understand the underlying goals to projects. Focused on exercises design to force the student to "do" after instructions, since doing is the only way to truly learn.
My Hobbies
’m happily married to my incredible wife Erin and have two amazing kids. In my free time, I enjoy movies, gaming, and hanging out with my family.
